Prohibited Content Policy

Purpose

Novelica publishes fictional audio stories for adults, some of which contain romantic and sexual themes. This policy sets out the content we never create, publish or allow on the platform, and how we enforce it. It applies to every story, episode, branching path, narration, title, description and cover image, and to anything a user submits to us (quiz answers, preferences and feedback).

How Our Content Is Made

• Every story is produced in house. Our team designs each story's scenario, structure and characters by hand.
• For longer episodes, our writers use AI writing tools to draft the full text from that human-written outline. The result is edited and approved by our team before release.
• Every story, episode and cover image is reviewed against this policy before it is published. Nothing is published without that review.
• Users cannot request, prompt or generate new content. Personalisation means choosing between paths we have already written and reviewed; no content is generated on demand for an individual user.

Prohibited Content

We do not create, publish or allow content that depicts, describes, implies, promotes or glorifies any of the following, whether presented as real, fictional or fantasy:

1. Minors. Any sexual or romantic content involving a person under 18, or a character who is, appears to be, or is described as under 18 (including references to school grades, childlike bodies or behaviour, or "age play"). Every character in a sexual or romantic scene is an adult aged 18 or older.
2. Non-consensual sexual activity. Rape, sexual assault, coercion, blackmail, or sexual activity with anyone who is asleep, unconscious, intoxicated, drugged or otherwise unable to consent, including scenes framed as "fantasy" or "role play" of non-consent.
3. Incest. Sexual or romantic content between family members, including step-family, adoptive and in-law relationships, and role play of such relationships.
4. Bestiality. Any sexual content involving animals.
5. Necrophilia. Any sexual content involving a dead body.
6. Sexual violence and extreme violence. Sexual content combined with violence, torture, mutilation or serious physical harm, and graphic gore or violence presented for gratification.
7. Exploitation and trafficking. Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or the sale or prostitution of another person.
8. Real people. Sexual or romantic content involving a real, identifiable person, including celebrities, public figures and private individuals, by name or likeness. Cover images never use a real person's likeness.
9. Hate and harassment. Content that attacks or demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.
10. Self-harm and suicide. Content that promotes or instructs suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
11. Illegal activity. Content that instructs or encourages illegal acts, including the use or sale of illegal drugs or weapons.

User Inputs

Users may not submit inputs (quiz answers, preferences or feedback) that are unlawful, that request any of the content listed above, or that infringe the rights of others. Such inputs are disregarded, and repeated or serious violations lead to suspension or termination of the account under our Terms & Conditions.

Enforcement

• Before publication: every story, episode and cover image is reviewed against this policy. Content that fails review is rewritten or discarded.
• After publication: published content is re-reviewed when we receive a report or identify a concern. Content found to breach this policy is removed promptly.
• Reports: anyone can report content through our Complaints & Content Removal Policy or by email to hello@mynovelica.com.
• Authorities: we report suspected child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.
